I have started a branch of this application to integrate a trial version of the Redemption client.
Thanks for pledging, but it seems this project is not really needed. There are third party tools that can be used to bypass the security prompt in Outlook 2003. Please see below

I have tried the mapilab solution and it works OK.
I think there is still a benefit for Toodledo Outlook Sync to be a standalone functional application that does not require one of the applications in your comment above. That way anybody can install your application without having to worry about installing anything else. A lot of people will find this too overwhelming will simply not use your app.
Just my thoughts.
Installed MapiLab, but have not figured out yet how to configure it to avoid the annoying security dialog. Agree that this needs a more seamless approach.
MapiLab worked after I rebooted (restarting Outlook was not enough).
If you have pledged to this project you should be able to retrieve your pledged funds through Micropledge interface. Please do so, as it is very unlikely that this development will proceed .
