Update: Mini vMac no longer requests pledges. Please do not pledge to this project.
For this project I will port Mini vMac to the XO-1 laptop from the One Laptop per Child non-profit organization.
The pledge target is not real, it is very high since I don’t know what work would be involved for this port. This microPledge project is just a way of judging how much interest there is. If there is sufficient interest I will look into it further. (As always, pledges are not collected unless the projects starts, with commitment to finish it.)

interrobang now reports (with pictures) that the default Linux Intel version of Mini vMac, available from the download page, works on the XO laptop.
So this project is about better integration with the “Sugar” user interface. This seems to involve either making a Python wrapper (I don’t know much about Python) or else using the not yet very well documented or supported Low-level Activity API.
