Colliberty Easy Publisher is an open source CMS-based on the popular web development platform Zope which has been around since 2002.
Easy Publisher differers from most other Zope based CMS since it doesn’t use the CMF framework (like Plone and CPS does for instance). Easy Publisher has a through-the-web approach for site development and aims to make integrators lifes easier rather then have a complete feature set out-of-the-box.
Easy Publisher’s strength is the object-oriented type systems that let’s developers make custom object types really easy (and through-the-web).
The current version is lagging behind on the latest supported Zope version somewhat because of major changes in the the 2.8 release of Zope. This project aims to updated Easy Publisher to the latest version of Zope 2.
