This would be a very exciting technology. The graphics don’t even have to be that good, just a way to explore at least small pieces of Second Life from within your browser. Second Life has recently open sourced their client so this should be possible in theory.
Here’s one use case. I create a cool thing in second life, so I put a link in my blog to it. A user could click on the link and be right in second life at the location I sent them. Or I could embed it in my blog a la YouTube.
