PidginPy will allow to use the python programming language to change the behaviour of your pidgin client ( http://www.pidgin.im/ ).
PidginPy essentially is a plugin for the pidgin client which loads a python module and channels incomming messages through it. At the same time it should expose some functions to allow some control of the pidgin client.
