For this project I will add a compile time option to Mini vMac for emulation of a Macintosh SE FDHD. I believe this model is very similar to a Macintosh SE, but it has been reported that they are not similar enough for their ROMs to be interchangeable. The work for this project involves acquiring a Macintosh SE FDHD, disassembling its ROM, and finding out what changes are needed from the Macintosh SE emulation. (Most likely mostly related to the Disk Driver replacement patch.)
This project will likely require a couple weeks of my time to complete, not including the time needed to acquire a Macintosh SE FDHD. The project will be considered done when the implementation is available in a development source snapshot (on minivmac.sourceforge.net/develop/). It will later be included in the next official release.
