Desent

This project is all about decentralized social network. It work just like Wordpress for blog. The concept is, we host our own profile or our family profile. The features will include profile page (You can put more than one), status update, resume and basic social features(e.g messaging, comment, friend list). This system will use an existing concept of DiSo project. The main thing is you can use this software as your general profile, business/career profile or travel profile. Just like Wordpress, this software will enable users to extend by adding plugins and also themes. So the features basically unlimited. Desent will be developed from scratch and will also use any existing open source project source code to help the development. Desent will also use existing microformat as its way to connect between each profile.
